Yesterday is completely different from today and from tomorrow – Gabriela Binderová, a designed, did not know that she would reflect in her interview with the talented Nikoleta Ferková a single sentence the entire notion of the Summer Academy held in August, during which talented Roma children from the Divé Maky association literally turned the whole Slnečné jazerá resort upside down.
/ Diskusia ()On Saturday, the Slnečné jazerá resort was occupied by Divé Maky. The small amphitheatre hosted dancing, singing, musical and visual arts performances of talented Roma children from all around the country. The show truly was spectacular.
/ Diskusia ()In this year, the total of 20 children from all regions applied for scholarships in the following areas: singing, music, dancing, sport, visual arts and student potential talent. The panel of experts shortlisted 8 children. Subsequently, families of selected children were visited by the program team. Based on the total evaluation, we included seven children in the Divé maky program in the school year 2011/2012. Along with that, also selected children from the Jarovnice project will be included in the program in the following school year.
We keep our fingers crossed for all children.

/ Diskusia ()The sunny days of early August saw every corner of the Senec hotel to be alive with singing, dancing, drawing or sports under the guidance of tutors, artists, and the Divé maky staff. Well, there is no need to wonder why. The hotel by the Slnečné jazerá lakes in Senec was the venue for the two-weeks Summer Academy for the children of Divé maky and the most talented children from the pilot project Divé maky – A Chance for Romany Children from Entire Slovakia.
/ Diskusia ()This Saturday the Červený Kameň Castle was flooded by the fans of Romany culture and arts. More than 2,500 people came to enjoy The Gipsy Bashavel.
/ Diskusia ()On the occasion of the International Day of the Romany we performed at the event organized by the Office of the Slovak Republic Government's Plenipotentiary for the Romany Communities.

/ Diskusia ()Members of the Rotary Club managed to combine having fun and doing a useful thing – the proceeds of their Ball were dedicated to the talented Romany children in the Divé maky program. The sum of EUR 6,000 will be used for workshops where children may develop and present their talent.

/ Diskusia ()Children of Divé maky – Aneta and Monika Kováčová, Slávka Olahová, Filip Abaffy and Mário Radič – performed live on the Children's Hour program. They sang Don't worry, be happy together with the band FRAGILE. Aneta also sang a duet with Katka Knechtová.
/ Diskusia ()At the end of November Divé maky launched its first CD at the Church of St. Claire in Bratislava. The event was connected with a performance of children led by Ida Kelarová. The “Godmother” of the launch event was Petra Polnišová who has been cooperating with Divé maky for some time.
/ Diskusia ()The International Women's Club (www.iwc.sk) organized a Christmas Bazaar in Bratislava. This was a symbolic opening of the Christmas season. For the 10th year there was also “A Romany Table” at the Bazaar. This year it was organized by Divé maky, Pramienok and Dialóg associations. Children of Divé maky (Ferko Kudrý, Monika Kováčová, Mirko Turták) helped to sell their self-made products.
