Facts about Divé maky

The Divé maky program supports talented Romany children and teenagers:

  • We help to develop skills of children in different domains – sports, music, singing, dancing, visual and performing arts, academic education;
  • The program is based on individual donations in the form of scholarships covering one academic year;
  • Children are supported by donors who donate a certain sum to a specific child to support his or her studies and talent development;
  • A donor financially supports studies and talent of a selected child for at least one academic year;
  • It is a simple form of providing support that enables transparent and efficient use of finances;
  • Children and their development are under supervision of professional tutors who regularly monitor the children assigned to them in the environment of their family and school;
  • Children are selected by means of talent tryouts;
  • At the present time 74 children are enrolled in the program.
