The sunny days of early August saw every corner of the Senec hotel to be alive with singing, dancing, drawing or sports under the guidance of tutors, artists, and the Divé maky staff. Well, there is no need to wonder why. The hotel by the Slnečné jazerá lakes in Senec was the venue for the two-weeks Summer Academy for the children of Divé maky and the most talented children from the pilot project Divé maky – A Chance for Romany Children from Entire Slovakia.

The children experienced two weeks full of explorations, new adventures, experiences, camaraderie and knowledge. Their two weeks of rehearsals and learning climaxed at The Gipsy Bashavel event held at the Červený Kameň castle site.

The success of the Academy and the Bashavel is based on a combination of many “variables”. One of them was access to a fantastic Fiat Sedici car. Its driving qualities helped the team to easily navigate through the heavy traffic of everyday's chores. The vehicle transported the children or the staff of Divé maky to their performances, medical treatments, errands, shopping trips or assorted transfers – with the speed of light, always, and in any weather.

Fiat Sedici made the two-week Summer Academy camp in Senec a more pleasant and a much easier event for the children of Divé maky. From 2 August until 16 August this four-wheeler rode many miles and safely made it to the final destination at the Čevený Kameň where is became witness to the magnificent finale – The Gipsy Bashavel.
